Mood: kinda jittery

I was waiting at the station today for my usual train to strood and i bumped into a lady who had her absolute household in bags around her feet. Her children were also carrying all their belongings in rucksacks on their backs and she was crying and kept saying that they were in no trouble but were fleeing due to racial harassment and abuse. The lady at the station was xplaining that she couldnt let her get on the train with so much luggage so took her to oneside as she began crying again. i dont know if the children realise what was going on or if they were aware that they were all of a sudden leaving their home on the run but as my train pulled away the little girl who was about 7 turned and looked at me with really sad eyes. It keeps haunting me, her expression. i just hope so much that they are ok.
My prayers will be with them tonight.
